HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group June 29th

Second last day of the month. Can you believe it? Where did it go?

Julia is in Belgrade so I am filling in for her.

Summer salad #3. I marinated the chicken in a soy, garlic, and ginger mix. The salad is composed of spinach, some quinoa, red pepper, cucumber, sauteed mushrooms, mandarins, green and red onion, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds and toasted almonds. It was really delicious. The sesame/ginger dressing was a perfect match.

It was pretty cool this morning so I went for a run. I surprised myself and did just over 7km and my time was not half bad. But, now I have some hip pain. I tried rolling it out a bit. Hopefully, I can make it through the day and then I will get the acupressure mat out tonight.

What are your plans for today?

We will have the salad again tonight so an easy night around here. That is good because I need to get some things from the store to prepare another salad for our summer party at work tomorrow.
