Quick Elbow Prehab Routine

Unless there's a problem, most of us forget that our elbows are a functioning part of the body. In fact, the elbow is a relatively simple joint made up of two bones in your lower arm and one long bone in your upper arm. The bones are connected by three strong ligaments, and the entire joint is surrounded by your triceps, biceps, and forearm muscles. Repetive motions, poor posture, or muscle weakness can lead to elbow pains and strains in one (or more) of these areas mentioned above. This can result in swelling and pain, especially if the elbow is positioned incorrectly during your workouts or sleep. 

But don't worry, there are things you can do to help keep your elbows healthy and happy! These preventative exercises help ensure that everything is moving properly in that tiny area. Today's release is a quick routine and should only take about 10 minutes of your time — perfect for a lunch or screen time break. With easy-to-follow exercises and helpful tips, you'll be on your way to healthier and stronger elbows and forearms in no time.
