A week without meat and dairy - insights

Last week it was the national week without meat and dairy in the Netherlands. It was our first time participating. Not eating meat was not a big issue for me. Not being "allowed" to eat cheese was. I missed my cheese.

What I did notice last week:

*I hardly had any cravings (and it was the week I got my period)

*I enjoy a salad for lunch with one or two crackers. It is filling and tasty. I like avocado and cashews in my salad.

*I prefer blended banana, mango and oatmilk over yoghurt

*I love cheese..

*I enjoyed getting creative and trying out new foods (jackfruit and tempeh were quite nice)

I would like to figure out why I did not have a lot of cravings this week, because that will help me shed a few kilograms..
