New Plus Workout: Grounding Yoga Flow

Hey FB family,

I am 18 months postpartum + getting to know my body again, and nothing feels the same. In my body I notice that my core, my feet, and my foundation are not as solid as I would like them to be, so I am rebuilding. Getting grounded and starting with the feet.

Grounding Yoga Flow: Activate the Feet, Ankles, and Shins

Practice being present in your body and connected to the parts on the body that touch the ground, in any shape. In this yoga practice we pay particular attention to the position and engagement of the foot, ankle, + shin for increased stability, mobility and posture. Being grounded is the ability to be completely aware and conscious during the present moment, and we will check in with how the foot, ankle + shin are engaged at several points throughout this flow. Grounding through the feet allows me to contemplate if there is any action I can take or thought that I could approach differently to reclaim my strength in this new body, and soften a bit to land on my feet.
