Today’s workout release is for the new parents in the crew but can also be done by anyone looking for a deeper core connection and some restorative mobility!

It’s no surprise that pregnancy takes a big toll on the body. Many of the effects — core weakness, postural changes, and aches/pains — carry over into the early postpartum period, dulling what should be a joyous experience.

So much focus is on your little one, but your recovery also matters! This routine makes it easy to prioritize the recovery of your core and pelvic floor while offsetting many posture-related aches and pains with mobility.

As a pre/postnatal fitness specialist I love to analyze the effects of pregnancy on the body as well as the common movement patterns of postpartum. This allows me to create a routine that supports and offsets them to get your body functioning and feeling good again!

I had my second baby 4 months ago and these exercises were (and still are) all staples. Try it while your baby is in tummy time or playing nearby on the floor - they’ll love watching you move around!
