Hi everyone,

Filing in for Julia as she visits her granddaughter. I hope she enjoys her visit.

Heavy clouds here today as I received the news that a very dear family friend passed away. As he was my fathers best friend, he was my second father and knew me since birth. He was also the father of my best friend. My heart is aching for my father and my best friend and her family.

I don't know if the day will bring any exercise aside from my bike ride to work and I don't know what will be for dinner. So far I just go through the motions. I am sure some exercise will help clear my mind. We will see.

Sorry for the gloomy post but I just don't have any words right now. It is times like these that make the distance feel even further. It is so hard to not be able to be there for my father and my friend.
