Surprising Low Impact and Pilates. Results. Advice Please

Hi,

It's no one at FB's fault that I was so focused on the highest intensity workouts and pushing my body too hard when I exercised. It was my own internal struggle with my body weight and image. After a couple of injuries and issues with my hips, I just can't seem to get into HIIT or certain exercises anymore.

I reluctantly started doing more of the pilates, mobility and walking workouts with Amanda, Kayla, Kelli, and Daniel. I always loved pilates, but I viewed it as a treat, not as a "real" workout (despite sweating)! The funny thing is I'm noticing that my body seems to respond MORE not less to these type of workouts. I've lost body fat and inches (not pounds) and I have less pain.

Has anyone else noticed this after changing workouts? Any advice to avoid a plateau? I would like to get a bit leaner since I did gain weight between 2020 and 2021 and want to see if getting leaner will help my hips and back.

Thank you!
