Best time to work out when working

Hey there!

I have recently finished my master's degree and am looking for a job. I'm aiming to get a 9 to 5 (or any schedule that allows me to have free time in the evenings).

When do you guys find it's best to work out?

I'm thinking that after coming home from a regular job my energy levels would be down and I won't have the motivation to put my best effort into it so working out before going to work would be ideal (and I will probably switch to a 30ish min workout program).

Another question would be: when do you eat breakfast? I feel like eating it before working out would mean I have to wait so I don't jump around with a full belly.
