Lack motivation for HIIT

Hi,

I used to love HIIT. It was the first type of workout I did with FB and I stuck with it to get stronger and gain endurance. I was so proud of myself.

Fast forward to the pandemic, a back injury, and having to go on restricted diet to improve my blood sugar (to avoid diabets) and I lost my taste for it. The problem is that HIIT seemed to get the pounds off! Lately, walking is all the cardio I really want do do these days.

Anyone else get leaner without HIIT?
