Intermittent Fasting…thoughts?

Hey Fitness Blender community, and maybe hopefully, the wonderful Fitness Blender teachers themselves, what are your thoughts on intermittent fasting? I just started doing the 8/16 fasting, 8 hours of being able to eat and 16 hours of not. I do most of the fasting asleep. Any thoughts on sustainability and if it’s a healthy way to lose weight? I’m also doing low carb, high protein. I’m not big into diets, but I wanted to readjust my mindset a little on food. I eat too much sugary baked goods And stress eat. Because of this I’m trying to switch my brain into realizing food is fuel not just to comfort my stress and anxiety. I’ve only been doing it for a couple weeks now and I’ve already lost 4 pounds. (I could lose about 20 pounds) I haven’t been doing much for exercise because I’ve been so busy with work. I do want to get back into exercise though. Let me know what you all think about fasting.
