Alternatives for calf raises

As per the title, I'm looking for alternatives to calf raises. I've recently been diagnosed with arthritis in my big toe meaning that it's become nearly impossible (and very painful) to do calf raises. I'm now waiting for an operation which will fuse the bones meaning that movement is basically over for me.

Whilst these don't come up in workouts often, I don't think I've seen an obvious substitute. Can the wonderful Blendies help please?
