Working out after a ten-month break

Hello everyone,

I don’t post very often but I do read around the community and I thought maybe it would help if I share this with you

I haven’t worked out in 10 months due to school - I felt guilty working out knowing I had so many exams to revise for… I binge ate a lot and I gained about 4 legs. But what’s worse is that I can no longer power through my workouts like I used to. I used to workout seven days a week and I used to get through HIIT workouts and feel nothing the next day with FitnessBlender.

And now, after ten months, as I’ve finally tried to get back into working out it’s been devastating - I can no longer lift as much or workout for as long and it’s so disappointing. My clothes don’t fit like they used to and it’s been a struggle trying to workout everyday.

Has anyone else gone through this? When you lose your fitness, how long will it take to gain it all back?
