Staycation here: KB overlooking an old train trestle. Look at the glorious lodgepole pines. Although it was 94 degrees on the valley, it was 68 here only half an hour away. The railroad was built to harvest the lumber. Later, the area became sanatorium for tuberculosis and sick children down in the hot valley. Remember these are the days before central cooling.
How are you? Fitness? I have to do something light. Food? We have a potluck and outdoor music event tonight if I am up to it. Fur balls? The wild kittens are frolicking around the yard. One was batting the zinnia. Fun? I watched the new Persuasion based on Jane Austen. It was okay, not very Austenesque but entertaining. I liked the sets. I would’ve recast Wentworth.
