July 8th...feels like just yesterday I welcomed us to July...

"self care is how you take your power back"

Perfect for self-care Sunday but also fitting this week for me. I have been listening to my body this week. I had some tough workouts, I cooled it a bit on runs since they were not going well and it was making me sad. I also explored some new to me workouts. I took some pressure off myself by not worrying about being so hyper-organized. And guess what, I survived the week.

Friday reflection, the week was ok. I am really looking forward to the weekend. I did a nice deep stretch yoga this morning which my body really needed. I am feeling limber and relaxed. I might go for a bike ride after work but at a gentle pace.

What do you have planned today? Rest, workout? What are you looking forward to this weekend? I do not have much planned..I have some options but I think I will be less than social. Looking forward to some yummy pasta tonight.
