Running after strength training

Currently I’m doing FB Strong 3 times a week (the program takes me a bit longer, I skip the optional recovery workouts). Since I’m unable to work out more often I was thinking about adding a short run (about 15/20 minutes) to my workouts on my next time through. Anyone else tried something like that (can be different cardio too of course)? If so, did you feel it worked for you?
