New FB Plus Workout: Total Body Mobility Routine for Active Recovery Days

I hope your day is off to a great start. Today’s workout release is one to save for your next active recovery day!

Mobility Routine for Active Recovery Days

This routine consists of a 4 minute gentle warm-up to get your blood flowing before heading into a series of 20 exercises that mobilize and stretch your entire body. Each stretch will be performed for 50 seconds, giving you a good amount of time to get into a position and relax. You’ll be given 10 seconds to transition between each exercise.

While this routine is for everyone, it’s also highly effective for targeting tight pregnancy and postpartum muscles that cause aches and pains, anterior pelvic tilt, and hunched shoulders. I filmed this at 23 weeks pregnant and it was the perfect cure for my tight hips and hamstrings!

Total time is under 30 minutes, which makes for a nice, quick active recovery day or could also be paired with a low-intensity cardio workout, walk, or bike ride. Go with what feels right!
