1 year ago - sciatica/piriformis syndrome

Hi all!

sorry ive been so quiet! training is coming to an end! they did tell us 10 weeks but we are about to go into week 12, take our final then 2 weeks of nesting- which in a call center thats a bridge between training and being on your own- your on the phone but with extra support. we'll also be getting our schedules shortly.

but really im here today because 1 year ago today was the day my whole summer changed. ended up in the ER and then at PT with what i thought was sciatica but diagnosed as piriformis syndrome. boo!

i was in a toxic work environment and pushing my body with 5/5 workouts 6 days a week -the next day basically im doing Reach. ha!

i learned a lot in PT- from respecting low impact workouts to why my foot is numb when its a muscle in my behind thats affected.

and thank you fitness blender for having the workouts i needed to both get me through that and move on! ❤️
