Grip Strength?

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing well!

I was hoping to get some advice for gaining grip strength. I recently purchased heavier weights (the 5-50lb powerblocks) and have noticed some issues with my grip strength during some of the exercises where I need heavier weights.

Typically this only affects my lower body work outs (my lower body is much stronger than my upper body). Once I get to 30lbs per hand it's my forearms and wrists that give out rather than my legs. I usually have to set my weights down and shake out my wrists at least a couple times per 45s interval. My wrists and forearms just start burning!

I think it's a combination of using heavier weights that I'm not used to and the handle of these dumbbells being larger than my previous 3-24lb set. I'm thinking that the more I use the heavier weights, the stronger the muscles in my wrists and forearms will get, but I'm wondering if there are any specific exercises I can throw into my upper body workouts that would help? I would love to hear any suggestions you guys have!

Thanks and have a great weekend! 😊
