NSV - deadlift

Sorry, unashamed brag-post.

My husband has decided that we need yet more equipment, so he’s acquired another barbell and extra weight plates. This arrived today, so we just loaded up the bar to have a quick test. It was a bit of a shock, but I managed to do a couple of 1-rep attempts with the bar at 160lbs. I have vague dreams of being able to do twice my bodyweight, so that’s definite progress.

Having also achieved a (very slow and ungainly) unassisted chin-up on Monday, I’m feeling quite pleased. 😁
