Workout Complete and Back Bows Question

Workout/Day 11 of my routine complete! This one was tough after a Saturday of little activity, junk food, and wine lol. Definitely a great workout!

Quick question on back bows for all of you. I've noticed recently that my breathing pattern is backwards when it comes to back bows. I inhale when I arch up and exhale when I drop back down. I tried to do it the right way, but I just cannot get as much range of motion when I exhale as I arch up. And it seems that no matter how hard I try, I end up falling back into the incorrect breathing pattern. My question is - does the breathing pattern matter as long as I'm not holding my breath? Am I cheating a little bit by inhaling on the way up?
