Getting Stronger!

Today's workout was one of my all-time favorite lower body strength training videos.

This is one of the first ones I did when I picked things back up last spring At the time, I used the below weights (total)

Squats - 10 Reps: 24 lbs, 8 Reps: 30lbs, 6 Reps: 30lbs

Curtsey Lunges - 10 Reps: 18lbs, 8 Reps: 24lbs, 6 Reps: 24lbs

Thrusts - 10 Reps: 15lbs. 8 Reps: 18lbs, 6 Reps: 21lbs

Reverse Lunges - 10 Reps: 24lbs, 8 Reps: 30lbs, 6 Reps: 30lbs

It's been nearly a year of working out consistently and this workout popped up again. Today I was able to use:

Squats - 10 Reps: 36lbs, 8 Reps: 42lbs, 6 Reps: 48lbs

Curtsey Lunges - 10 Reps: 24lbs, 8 Reps: 36lbs, 6 Reps: 42 lbs

Thrusts - 10 Reps: 30lbs, 8 Reps: 36lbs, 6 Reps: 42lbs

Reverse Lunges - 10 Reps: 30lbs, 8 Reps: 36lbs, 6 Reps: 42lbs

I was so happy to see the progress I have made! I was just telling my hubby that I was (although happy that I've been remaining consistent with my workouts) a little frustrated that the scale hasn't budged in a few months. Tonight was a nice reminder that even if it is hard to see sometimes, progress is still being made.

Hope everyone is doing well! Happy Blending! 😊
