Setting reasonable nutrition goals!

Hello everyone!

Working out isn’t a challenge for me. I’m super consistent with moving my body in some way almost everyday. Nutrition, however, is a different story.

Being that I am in grad school, most times when I get home I am utterly exhausted. My brain just can’t comprehend the thought of cooking. So, we usually end up ordering out 3-4 x a week.

The problem is, I start the week with good intentions and end up wasting food. So, instead of unrealistically planning to cook dinner every night, I am aiming for 1 day on the weekend and 3 days during the week. I think this will be a good start to ease myself into a healthier routine.

Today, I made us tuna steaks, baked potatoes and broccoli.

Tomorrow will be pork chops and perogies with a side salad

Wednesday will be breakfast potatoes, eggs, and bacon

Friday, we are going to my parents for the weekend so we will be taken care of food wise :)

For breakfast, I plan on making Einstein copycat avocado, egg, and tomato + bacon breakfast sandwiches and for lunch shrimp burrito bowls! If you guys have any easy meals, please let me know!!
