Sometimes, you just gotta be consistent!

I had clinic today, which is draining. After that, I had to run some other errands so I didn’t get home until a little later. This pretty much sapped any extra energy I gave for working out.

Typically I do a 20-30 minute indoor walking/running workout and 30-40 minutes of strength training. Today I programmed a 20 minute walking workout and a 40 minute upper body workout. My mind was resisting it so bad. During my walking workout, I was thinking, “there’s no way I can do 40 minutes of upper body”

Instead of doing nothing, I compromised with my body. I did a 15 minute upper body workout. For me, this kept the consistency of my routine, which is a win! It doesn’t have to be all or nothing!
