Move Your Body!

It’s easy to get caught up in ambitious fitness goals at this time of year, so we thought we’d post this reminder: sometimes it’s good enough just to move your body at all. On days when your energy or motivation is low, remember that rest days and gentle movement are just as important to your overall fitness routine as the higher-intensity workouts.

Starting with Kelli and Daniel, our Certified Personal Trainers and Doctors of Physical Therapy talk a lot about “listening to your body.” When it comes to deciding which workout to do on a given day, “listening to your body” means pushing yourself when you feel energized, resting when you feel depleted, and committing to showing up for yourself with compassion 100% of the time.
