My mom had an appointment at the eye hospital today and needed someone to drive her. She had at least an hour worth of appointments and due to restrictions I could not go in with her.. the hospital is located in the centre of Rotterdam, which I hadn’t been to in a while. Shops are closed monday morning so it was quiet. I decided to check out the city.. a lot had changed, but a lot was still familiar.. the arch is a city monument, one of the few costructions that still stood after the WW2 bombardements (Rotterdam suffered greatly).. afterwards my mom and I had a coffee and a scone.. it was a very short walk, but nice..
