Yesterday in the Kitchen - Thursday 9/16/21

Good morning fellow Blenders.

Staring out this morning early. Savannah heading off to school, Storm back to work, and I get the pleasure of taking two cats to be spayed. Then work for me. If the power is still on at the campus. Neighbor has been running their generator all night.

Anyway, "yesterday in the kitchen:" we had vegetarian taco salad. Filling was black and pinto beans, white onion, bell pepper, red cabbage, and pineapple tomatoes. Seasoned with garlic powder, cumin, black pepper, chili powder, smoked and ground red chili flake, and a little smoked paprika. All that on mixed baby greens and blue corn tortilla chips.

Then we added some avocado, red onion, sliced black olives, diced tomato, salsa, and sour cream. It was really tasty. This can be vegan if you get rid of the sour cream.
