Broken elbow and working out

Has anyone been in the same situation: working out with a broken arm / elbow? Do you have any suggestions how to and how much working out is fine?

My doctor didn’t say anything else but to stay out of lifting for six weeks. I didn’t ask him about HIIT etc. I want to do something other than sit on my ass all day.

Healing just is not easy. Before my accident I worked out 1,5 hours / 3-4 times a week. Mostly at the gym but also doing FB.

Every idea, help etc. is welcome now.
