Yesterday in the kitchen ended up being just afternoon things. Storm took a good size chicken out a couple days ago to thaw. We decided to rotisserie this beautiful bird. So I made up a seasoning of 1 tsp sea salt, 1 -1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp smoked paprika, roughly 10-12 grinds of mixed pepper corns. Skewered the mammoth bird and dusted it with my concoction.
During the roasting we decided to have Storm make up the Dijon, honey, and garlic marinade she used last week for the chicken breasts. I brushed the chicken multiple times during the last 15 mins of cooking. Threw in a side salad and dinner was delicious. I could have made a meal of just the bird.
