Do I need HIIT/Cardio as an almost underwieght person?

Hello FB Community, Andrew here posting on the forums for the first time.

The question is in the title, but I'm also going to offer some background. I started using FB about 4 months ago, and since then improved my eating habits and did workouts regurarly for about 2 months.

Today I weighed myself at 66.2 kg (145.5 pounds), which combined with my height of 1.87m (6ft 2') gives a BMI of 18.9, just above the 18.4 limit for underweight people (I am 19yo, male). I used to weigh 69 kg (152 pounds) before I started using FB and since then gained a decent amount of muscle and lost quite a bit of belly fat, though I still have a little (can provide photos if necessary).

So the question is, should I still do HIIT or cardio throughout my routines? I don't mind this kind of training, but it seems unnecessary given that I have almost no fat left and I'd happily replace them with pure strength training if it yields better results.

Thanks for the help!
