Run down??

Hey everyone!!

Basically I just wanted to see if anyone has experienced this or has any advice:

So the last couple of months I’ve been working out quite substantially but I am also extremely busy in my personal life and have just started a new job.

I got a bad case of tonsillitis about a month ago and I didn’t really let myself rest when I had it (I carried on as normal) and I now have it again. :(

Is this something that can happen when you’re very run down from just not stopping and carrying on all the time?! I’m not sure whether to just take a break from all workouts until I’m 100% better and refuse to have a social life for a week to recover!

Any advise on how to balance all of this and not get ill from burning out would be amazing please 😪
