5 Day Challenge: Strong and Lean - Day 1

Woohoo! This workout seriously kicked my butt.

I needed 3 months to complete round 3 of FB30 since a sore throat and cough knocked me out for over 3 weeks. The restart went very slowly since I could't take time off work. Almost all of my March calendar is blank, but towards the end of it I managed daily stretching, completed the programme with baby steps and am now taking a sort of break before the next one. Time to get in some running, yoga, and the 5 day challenges.

Yesterday I followed an online video for half of the ashtanga yoga primary series, and today was the first day I tackled HIIT again. Loved this video, it left me winded and slightly light-headed, but not badly exhausted. I lifted much lighter than usual too, per hand 9kg->7kg for squats, 11kg->7kg for deadlifts, 7kg->bodyweight for curtsy lunges for example.

Now I'm happily exhausted and looking forward to FB Reach's 20min stretch later. :)

Anyone out there taking a 5 day challenge atm? How long do you usually take between one programme and the next?
