Gaining weight since working out

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what you did to get through it - Started doing FB (mostly lower body HIIT or cardio) and definitely have a more toned lower half, but have gained about 10 pounds over the last few months and have tighter fitting clothes. Should I start counting calories to see if I'm over-eating since I feel more hungry? Or just get over it bc I'm probably gaining muscle? Anyone? Thanks!
