From Pep Talking to myself to Yelling at Kelli

My morning today...

Open FB calendar. See that today's workout is 52 mins of Strength, HIIT, and Pilates.

Me: oh, crap. I'm definitely going to have to modify. I'm not sure I can do this! 😨

Start the cardio warm up.

Me: this isn't so bad. I can do this.

Start the strength training.

Me: I can do this, I can do this, I can do this! (Muscles get sore, but doing ok.)

Start the HIIT.

Me: maybe I should skip this part?? No. I'll just do what I can and modify where I need to. Let's see how long I last. (Cut out the jumps and take extra breaks)

HIIT continues.

Me: oh, I don't like this.

More HIIT

Me: Kelli, you're crazy!

More HIIT:

Me: I don't think I like you today!

Switch to Pilates burnout

Me: I survived the HIIT!!! I can do the pilates, no prob! I got this!!

Pilates continues

Me: I definitely don't like you today!!

More Pilates:

Me: I really, REALLY don't like you today!!!

Hubby in the next room: you sound crabby. You don't like anyone! Did you get your coffee??

Yet more Pilates (feeling the burn)

Me: Kelli, you are out of your flipping mind.

Kelli: we've got 2 more minutes until the cool down and stretch! (Said really cheerfully!)

Me: whimpering

Time to stretch;

Me: oh, thank God!!!!!!

Workout complete

I survived!!! Yay me!!!! 🎉🎊🎉
