Workout split to maintain glute muscles.

Hi! I was wondering if anyone knew a good workout split (5 days on, 2 days rest) to maintain glute muscles during a cut. During the FB Booty program I worked my glutes 3X a week but now should I cut to 2X a week? Cause I figured, if I'm going to do HIIT 3X a week might as well make a leg/glute day out of it.
