FB Fit R3 - Day 10 Complete!

Today's interesting HIIT+Core workout with Kelli & Daniel was brutal, but fun and challenging in a good way. Lost count of how many times Daniels said, "Alright, get back up!" ;)

Although the interspersed HIIT and core portions were AABB x2, the short 20:10 intervals made it go by quickly and it felt less daunting than reading the printout. Did mostly HIIT with only a couple of MIITs, especially after almost slipping and falling on the sweaty mat during the plank ins & outs.

Kelli & Daniel's fun, light-hearted banter and laughter throughout, as well as a number of exercises that are fairly unique made what would have been an otherwise grueling, somewhat dauntingly repetitive long HIIT+Core workout into a totally doable, fun, challenging workout that was a great way to start the day. Have to say - normally the words "brutal" and "fun" and "swimming in sweat" are not compatible, but in this particular case they are thanks to the way Kelli & Daniel lead the workout - with anyone else, this would probably just be all brutal with no fun. :)

Definitely not enough energy left for the EC abs burnout after this, and the higher amount of HIIT plus longer length workout necessitates taking the rest of the week much easier to adequately recover and not tank for several days like after the 90-minute 1000 calorie workout in FB Complete a few weeks ago.

Overall, progress back to fitness from injury is stil slow, but thankfully continuing forward step by step with only a few setbacks, ptl, and it feels really good to be able to tackle such a challenging workout without needing to stop! :D

Looking forward to tomorrow's UB supersets strength workout with Daniel, if recovered enough by then.
