Thoughts on Rest Days

As the quote says, pushing ourselves is so important if we want to make improvements and help manage stress, but the importance of rest should not be underestimated. Get the rest you need, and you will set yourself up for more sustainable workouts, fewer injuries, and being able to push yourself (smartly) on the days you’re doing more intense exercise.

Are you getting enough rest between workouts? Do you have any favorite rest day activities? Do you do any “active” rest and recovery work (think nice walks, light stretching, foam rolling, etc.) on your days off?
