Too much protein..?

Hey guys! I was wondering if eating too much protein should be a concern of mine? I’m within my set allotment of calories for the day and I already reached my protein goal for the day but if I have a protein-rich snack as my last snack of the day and push myself over my goal grams of protein per day, is that a problem or is it the more protein the better (as long as I’m not eating more cals in and than out)?
