When should I expect to see results?

Hi everyone! I'm relatively new to all of this, but I just started doing my first 8 week program. :) I'm about 3 weeks into the program now and haven't missed a workout, I've changed my diet so that I'm eating more veggies and very few processed foods, I'm watching my calorie intake and I've still somehow managed to gain 5lbs and go up a size in pants! :( I'm getting very discouraged with myself and quite honestly can barely stand to look at myself in the mirror. I don't want to give up, but it's hard to stay positive. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Is this something that's normal? I was also wondering when you guys started seeing results? Thanks for the input guys!
