Deadlift variations and muscle connection

Hey guys!

I am having a little trouble knowing which muscles/ parts I should be feeling for the different deadlift variations. I am definitely doing it with good form, but I feel like my mind-muscle connection is not there and I don't even know which muscles I should be feeling (gluteus maximus/ medius/ hamstrings/ etc.) In particular, the deadlifts with toes in and with toes out. Anybody have any thoughts?
