New FB Plus Feature: Achievements (+New Workout!)

We’re excited to share a new feature today - something meant to be supportive of balanced, healthy habits.

It can be really motivating to have a visual of your fitness and wellness goals. We have carefully selected a handful of “achievements” to help promote positive and healthy activities - plus other achievements that will encourage you with fun surprises throughout your time onsite. All of these achievements have been mindfully selected and paced to be sustainable - we took care to make sure to build these in a way that will help discourage people from extreme diet and exercise, which are harmful for the body, mind, and longterm health.

Here’s how it works: As you interact with the website, like completing a specific type of workout video or building your own routine, completing a 2 week challenge or even a certain amount of rest days, you will earn points toward a variety of achievements to congratulate you on a job well done. Each achievement has different criteria to complete and some even have different time periods you’ll need to stay within, so check the available achievements to see what it takes to earn each one!

We’ll regularly add to the list of achievements you can earn and will always be on the lookout for great ideas from the community - please let us now what you would like to see next!

We know achievements won’t be for everyone, so you have full control of whether or not you see them. To turn them off, go to your profile and select “No” from the “Display Achievements” dropdown. If you decide to turn them back on in the future, the system will automatically check for any achievements you may have earned while they were turned off.

We hope you enjoy earning achievements as much as we did building them for you. And remember to send us your ideas for new achievements you’d like us to include in the future.

We also just published a new FB Plus workout: Upper and Lower Body Stretching Workout - Towel or Yoga Strap Stretches - Try it out and let us know what you think!

In case you missed yesterday's new free workout: Sweaty Bodyweight Cardio Butt and Thigh Workout

I hope that your week is off to a great start!
