Fitness parameters tracking

Hey all!

I got a question for you all. How do you track your progress? Do you have a smart device that tracks any parameters for you? Do you log your weight lifted info and compare it after some time? BTW, congrats to Esthers lifting improvements! :)

I got my Garmin Forerunner 245 watch in January and I was interested in VO2 max data, which is measured while walking, running and biking. The bigger the value, the better cardiovascular fitness. In January my VO2 max was 45, gradually as I had a ton of work and exercised less it dropped to 42, and after I recovered from illness (2 weeks) it dropped to 40. Now that I am exercising again, it went up to 41 after 2 weeks of exercise. The Garmin measurement of VO2 max is said to be around 90 % accurate, which is alright for a non professional athlete. I think thats the main parameter I am currently watching, alongside my heart rate and listening to my body in terms of rest and exercise modification.

Im looking forward to your answers! :)

Take care!
