Nerve flossing

I’ve noticed for a while now that my arms tend to fall asleep when I’m lying down. I generally wake up with numb arms/hands, or if I wake up and lay in bed for a bit before getting up my arms will start to go numb. It tends to happen more-so after upper body lifting days. Google tells me this is due to muscles compressing nerves in my arms- has anyone else experienced this? I have put on quite a bit of upper body muscle in the last year or so. The recommendation to deal with this is something called nerve flossing- basically moving the nerve around to improve its mobility. Has anyone done this before or have any recommended exercises?
