DOMS... It’s starting

I completed Kelli’s (free, old school) lower body strength descending workout this morning. I went fast out of the gate! My lower body is already feeling a little weird, ie, I do believe DOMS and I will be reacquainted in the morning!

Below is my strength breakdown (I almost hit my bridge goal of 80 LBS total). Thank you Kelli for this strength routine because it helps push me out of my comfort zone. Again, this is a FREE workout folks!

So, below.....

Squats= 70 lbs total @ 15 reps; 75 lbs total at 12 reps; 80 lbs total at 10 reps

Deadlifts (I have a bad back, so these are tricky for me)= 50 lbs total at 12 reps; 55 lbs total at 10 reps; 60 lbs total at 8 reps

Curtsy Lunges= 40 lbs total at 10 reps EACH side; 50 lbs total at 10 reps EACH side; 55 lbs total at 8 reps EACH side.

Thrusts... I replaced these with Bridges because of my back. Bridge= 60 lbs total at 15 reps; 70 lbs total at 15 reps; 75 lbs total at 12 reps with a 15 second pulse at the end. I’m so close to that elusive 80 lbs!

Lunges.... I replaced these with Bulgarian Split Lunges (foot bothering me from an old injury) Bulgarian = 20 lbs total at 10 reps per leg; 30 lbs total at 10 reps per leg; 35 lbs total at 8 reps per leg.

If anyone out there is craving an intense challenging LBW, this one is a keeper. Really makes you push yourself out of your comfort zone.
