In desperate need of lunge alternatives!

Hi fbf!

So I hate lunges. I don’t mind reverse lunges but all the others I just can’t do. I don’t feel it in the right places and it doesn’t feel comfortable. See if there is only one set of side lunges in a video I can substitute them for sumo squats or something, but when there is forward lunges, side lunges and lunge squats all in one vid I am officially at a loss because I have no idea what other moves to substitute these with. Therefore, fitnessblener family, I need your help with finding substitutes for those exercises that still target the same muscle group.
