Food for Thought, monday march 1st

I hope all the thesis writers are doing well!

Today I would like to hear about accountability. I am wired a bit weird when it comes to accountability (for food). I stopped tracking my intake 2 weeks ago and at the same time, I started snacking again. When I track my food, I can stop myself from having (another) cookie, because then I can see I am eating too much to create a deficit.. I know this is the same when I don't track, but in my mind it works this way: if you don't track it, it is not there.. I am a terrible liar, so I can't not track a cookie if I eat one.

So, I started tracking again today.

How do you stay accountable when it comes to making healthy decisions? Do you need an external cue or motivator or do you do it on your own? Do you have any tricks to get that internal motivator working? Let me know.
