Kickboxing

Is it just me, or can anyone else relate?

You know when you’re kickboxing and you’re feeling really strong throwing those hooks, and upper cuts and you’re like; “Man, this is good practice for self defense. I’m getting pretty quick with these jab crosses!” BOOM, front kick!

But then the next day, you get this weird paranoia like, “Um... is this even safe? How can I defend myself, when I can’t even blow my nose without my whole rib cage hurting? Or, “My upper back hurts so bad, there’s no way I could do those back elbow things to save my life! I can barely even raise my arm up, much less punch someone.”

Is that just me?

(I’m not really that paranoid about being attacked by someone. I don’t know, it’s just a thought I had because I was SO sore yesterday after these workouts the day before.)
