Last weeks post about food culture inspired me to make stamppot andijvie today. It is mashed potatoes with raw andive mashed through. A stamppot is not the same without a bit of bacon in it, so I added that and some red onion. I also put a bit of grated old cheese and dijon mustard through the potatoes. Complimented with a meatball and some gravy. Not the healthiest meal, but homemade and delicious. We enjoyed it, a lot.
