It's a Traps!

Hey all,

I was hoping I could get some advice. In the last few days my traps have become quite tight and sore. Most noticeably when I lower my chin to my chest, I can feel it from my lower neck to between my shoulder blades, it's not painful just tight and sore. Turning head left and right is fine.

I've never had this issue before so does anyone have advice on ways to loosen this up at all?

For context I am doing FB FIT (tomorrow is on day 30: Upper Body Supersets + Cardio) but I'm also doing a push up challenge (basically learning to do push ups) where I've just moved from wall push ups to knew push ups yesterday so I'm likely working the are more than usual anyway.
