Back to it after a tough holiday season

So my story starts back in the middle of November when I got sick (not Covid, thankfully). I couldn’t workout for two weeks. Then December came and suddenly my boyfriend is home and our friend next door is always home and we always had plans outside the house so there was no exercise for the whole of December either.

Here January comes and I want to get back to exercise. I’m so glad I chose a short 15 minute mostly low impact routine because I felt weak and stiff (not as flexible). I’m having a hard time with how far my body went out of shape in just 6weeks.

But I’m now on day 5 and I’m using this post as a motivator to get started on today’s workout, the first of this year with weight. I’m putting no pressure on myself and I’m going to lift way lighter than I did last year but it’s a step in the right direction.
