Soreness without Working Out?

Heh All!

I hope everyone is doing well. I was just curious about this. I haven't been able to workout in pass few months/almost a year because of my joint pains (which I'm still trying to get used to). Lately though for some reason I don't do any big movements or any exercises and my body is sore...I mean sore after doing a total body/core based workout sore. It's the strangest thing because I could be laying down or sitting and I get up and it feels like I did a major total body routine the day before but I didn't. Then I'm standing there wondering, "What on earth? Why am I so sore? I didn't do any major movement did I? What did I do?" I'm so confused.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a bad thing maybe? Could it be my body is sore from not moving around enough? Is that even a thing? What can I do to cause less soreness? Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you in advanced!
